Review:
A diamond in the rough. The little local place where down home southern cooking meets Burlington diner. It’s good, and this is coming from a kid who grew up in suburban Maryland. A very small diner located downtown on Church Street across from Williams High School that has the perfect feel to it. A lot of locals so don’t act-a-fool but certainly enjoy the experience. Biggest perk, it’s dirt cheap for the quality and amount of food you get. The menu ranges from typical southern breakfast (pancakes, grits, eggs, hash browns, breakfast steaks, etc.) to a good lunch and dinner menu (sandwiches, steaks, etc.). I will admit I only go for breakfast on Saturday or Sunday. It’s a great place to cure a hangover and it definitely beats HardON. Don’t go in a big pack, try to keep it to 4 and under, or you won’t be able to sit together and may have to wait for a table. Getting there isn’t too difficult, go to Church Street, turn left at Eckerd and stay on it till you get to Pano’s.
